Greetings from the Seaway City!
How's everyone been? I apologize for my recent absence from this blog... I've done lots and been to many places in the past few weeks... here's a quick run-down of my journey (just picture a map with this route!)... Waterloo --> Toronto --> Seoul --> Sokcho --> Busan --> Incheon --> Toronto --> Burlington --> Toronto (again) --> Cornwall. I'll likely stay in Cornwall for the next little bit working for the government. Y'know, for co-op.
There is lots I can say about Korea... definitely too much to squeeze within the 12 minutes remaining on my internet access time here at the Cornwall Public Library. (I don't yet have internet access at home) However, it was a very fun trip since it was the very first time I've travelled outside of our continent. We spent the first few days in Seoul, a busy city with many unique shopping spots, historic palaces, and crazy-fucking drivers. Then, along with some family we set out on a 5 day roadtrip along the east coast of the peninsula, stopping at Sokcho (a beautiful small city in the northeast), Yeongdoek (where we stopped for king crab), Busan (2nd largest city in Korea), as well as other neat attractions along the way. Afterwards, it was back to Incheon - the city in which the international airport is located (think of Mississauga). It also happens to be where I have the most family, so what better way to end a vacation than to go bar-hopping with family!? Anyways... if you want to see pictures, look no further than my Flickr account. I'll be happy to talk about anything in detail, upon request.
Alright, I'm almost out of time so I'll leave it here for now. I'll try to take some pictures of Cornwall soon!
