A Philosophical Question

A late realization in life. Life isn't about finding one's place in the world/universe, its more about finding one's identity in it...
This is why we work (moslty meaningless jobs) its our idenity. Its not the money that compells us, but its our identity... Finding one's identity has become a much harder task, in a world of globalization and unification. But then no more than 100 years ago, one's identity was to do what his father had done before.
Whats worse, living in the shawdow of someone else? or becoming a drone?
