Iron Man

What do you get when you cross a genius billionaire, with alcoholism? The answer: Tony Stark. Iron Man is a must see movie, with superior Computer Generated Imagery (CGI) and top-quality story, missing it in theaters would be a tragedy. The movie, does a great job adapting the comic book’s story to the big screen, without missing detail.

Tony Stark is a wealthy billionaire, who inherited his father’s weapon research facility. As a brilliant capitalist, Stark uses his intelligence to produce state of the art weaponry which his company sells to governments around the world. While in Afghanistan, Stark showcases a new weapon capable of leveling mountains to the US military. On Route traveling, his US escorted convoy is attacked and Stark is captured. Stark is then ordered by his captives (terrorists of unknown origins) to reproduce a missile. Stark reluctantly agrees, and builds a high-tech suit of armour instead. You are going to have to watch the movie to find out what happens!

After reading graphic novels for the past year, Iron Man has become my favourite Marvel superhero. Tony Stark comes a close second to Batman in terms of there respective storylines, and personalities. This movie does a perfect job portraying the origins of Iron Man on the big screen, as Robert Downey Jr. was the ideal actor for the job. Downey Jr. was witty, had a broad spectrum of emotion and even looked the part. The irony of this movie is that both Tony Stark and Robert Downey Jr. both had drinking problems which led to their downfalls, but “Iron Man” made them both into instant stars.

9.5 out of 10. Great Movie.

Wait until the credits finish for a guest appearance of movie favourite Samuel L Jackson. Fans of the Marvel Universe will appreciate this…
