There was much noise emanating from the lower level of the SLC today. I went to investigate the commotion. It was a Pakistan-India cricket match. My question is: who let the fobs out?!?! Anyhow, what's the big deal - this is like watching the D-Rays play the Royals. Let's see an Australia-Sri Lanka match for some real cricket.

On an unrelated note, earlier this week I tried to return some of the books I've accumulated over the years to the Used Book Store. I had wide array of books - Accounting, PoliSci, History, English, CS, Stats... Unfortunately, they wouldn't accept any of my books but for one. Apparently my books were out of date. What?! Most of my books are just 2, 3 years old max. Damn rapacious publishers and their new editions every 6 weeks. Fortunately, I crossed paths with a couple of guys who were willing to fork over $100 for my not dated-as-of-yet Stat/ActSci books.

Moral of the story: Return your books ASAP.
