me: we had a class together on tuesday, and she told me about this plush polar bear that she sleeps every night with. she told me its name was "apple" (well at least that's what i'd heard from her accent.) i told her that's cute.

Cindy: and?

me: so last night i thought i'd be cute, so i texted her the following (quote): "b4 u go to bed tonite, tell apple sen says hi :-P"
i didn't get a response. hmm... early-to-bed type i guess. or maybe she was just being coy. well i didn't read too much into it.

Cindy: I miss txts all the time

me: anyhow this morning i while in my STAT 340 class i get a text from Sarah: "How do you know apple?"

Cindy: hahaha... she forgot... lol

me: hmm... bad memory? well i played along and said: "Gomu Gomu says i cant say so it must remain a secret."

txted that,and no response
well anyhow, i saw her at the event, so before we started the games, i said "so how's apple doing?"
and she looks at me and she says "how do you know apple"
and i'm still baffled, so i tell her how she told me about this toy yesterday in class,
and she still looks confused
and then (punchline)
she says "you mean ABAO... apple is my ex-boyfriend!"
