Canada’s other Political Parties

With all this talk about Obama and McCain, no one ever seems to care much about Canada. Our political parties are too fascinating in their own ways. Here is a list of all the ‘other parties’ (Minus the Big 4).

The founding of the Animal Alliance Environment Voters Party of Canada
This party is trying to scare us into voting for them by using the words cancer and pollution in the same sentence. Recommend read for this party, Chicken Little. The party’s website, is pretty crappy, its one page, and very bland.

Communist Party
After reading their platform, they sound more like the NDP, than red-hard communists. To quote them:

“We know that the democratic reforms proposed in our People's Alternative, in themselves, cannot resolve the systemic crisis of capitalism. But by curbing the power of the monopolies, improving the material conditions of the working class and the people generally, and by stimulating the broad, united struggles necessary to achieve such reforms, our People's Alternative could open the door for more far-reaching reforms.”

Why does this party exist? I mean they are splitting the vote with the Communist Party for god sake! They seem more radical than the Communist Party and their website is just a tirade of bitching against Harper. Why vote for this party over the Communist Party? I don’t know…

The Neo- Rhinoceros Party

A joke party, if elected they promise not to keep any of their promises. I don’t know why people waste their time with such notions. I mean, if you are going to go through all that work to make a political party… The picture on there page is rather fruity. They want to give all of our soldiers, paintball guns, and dress them up as clowns. Terrorist beware, your time is through!

Christian Heritage Party

With a magenta background for their webpage, and a creepy picture of an old guy, the party leader claiming to be an ‘intellectual’ who wouldn’t vote for this party?? He even flashes pictures of famous Canadian landmarks in the webpage, what the fuck does that have to do with God, Jesus and the Church? All this party cares about is Pro-Family, Pro-Life. Just what democracy needs! I forgot their slogan: “the right conservatives!” because apparently there’s a left conservatives too.

Just one last thing, my principal asked us (the teacher staff at the school I am working at) that Google answers millions of questions daily, what did people do before google?
