Campbell's Scoop-Anyone else there?
Hello all
So Liverpool won again the other day, not anything new to report in that department. We're off to the next round of the Champions League qualifying. I'm not sure if any of this makes sense to you guys. If you have any questions, just ask and I'll clarify.
But other than that, where is everyone? What happend to all the posting? Come on people, I wanna see something.
Brock

who cares about anything other than the NHL right now? It is free agent time with the new CBA in place, which i might add is kick ass (thanks Bettman...you are my hero). Competitive balance is back in the league...just look at the edmonton oilers for example, who in prior years had to ship away their premier players (ie. doug weight, bill guerin) have traded for and signed chris pronger to a multi-year deal, traded for michael peca and they are still shopping.
8/05/2005 12:34:00 PMI can't wait until the season starts...with the new rules, all of which i like (thankfully nothing stupid like bigger nets), the game will be more exciting than the last few years. This is an exciting time for hockey fans.

I don't think any of us have a clue about the English Premier League. So there's Division I, Division II, Division III etc. How does it all work? A post would be helpful.
8/05/2005 01:19:00 PMJames - that would be cool. Let's see it.
NHL is back! Good to see there's parity in the league now. Not like the days when the Rangers & Flyers would buy all their players - finally Canadian teams can compete with the big markets!
With all the teams refurbished it'll be interesting to see how things pan out. Will Crosby live up to the hype?

I think this might be the best CBA for in professional sports--even better than the NFL, if only the NHL can become as huge as the NFL...
8/05/2005 02:16:00 PMAlso, there is nothing I will enjoy more than watching the Leafs miss the playoffs this year...they better make some roster moves...all the big fish are getting signed!
