X Men 3: X Doesn't Mark the Spot

After a crazy misadventure getting to the theatre with Chan, are hopes were high that this would be a great movie. With actors like Ian McKellen, Kelsey Grammer, Patrick Stewart, Halle Berry, and Hugh Jackman, one would think this movie had a chance at being good.
First let me tell you the story of how we got to the theatre. Somehow Chan and I got the brilliant idea at taking a shortcut through some forest. Using a cell phone as a torch we managed to get all the way from the beer store on Albert to Waterloo Inn, in 10 minutes. Our luck turned sour when it began to poor rain... we were two minutes away from the theatre! Soaked and cold we finally arrived to watch the film.
I don't want to spoil the movie for anyone, so I won't go into specific details about the plot. I will say though the reason why this movie was so bad, was due to the fact that many of the main X-Men were missing, from the story. Most of the actors simply failed to perform, and the movie seemed to revolve around the meaningless characters (Kitty and Iceman). Out of the three movies this had the best CGI, but had the worst plot. As well, popular X-men weren't included in this film such as Gambitt, (and to a lesser extent) Jabalee. The portrayal of Magneto in this movie was also horrible, as they turned him from an evil man fighting the ills of society to a weak old human being.
I give this movie a 6 out of 10, only because of the CGI. It didn't help that i was cold and damp from the rain. The "love story" involving the 20 something year old Iceman with a 12 year old Kitty (the girl that can walk through walls) also took away from the movie.
